coffee and rain
Ya know those days that you never bother to look at your watch, but instead just let time slide by, enjoying each tiny moment? That's the type of day I had Saturday. Amy had called me Friday night saying she was jonesin' for lunch with me. So, we met up for one glorious Saturday afternoon.
After devouring some good eats at La Parilla, we parked ourselves in a comfy spot outside Signs of Life. We sipped on Americano's, watching the people walk by and a thunderstorm come and go. We were lovin' the smell of rain and taking photos of the clouds. I'm not sure what it was about the afternoon, but it was perfection. God was tangible. He was there, as always, just possibly more noticeable.
A-dog, thanks for being awesome. When you celebrate your birthday later this week, celebrate the fact that God made you in His image, and you do an amazing job of living that out. And while you're at it, you should be listening to Jimmy Buffett and wearing pink socks up to your knees.

Aww, how I miss wonderful days at relaxing at Signs. I'm so glad to see that you've been able to relax and connect with God. I hope we can experience that this weekend. And Happy Birthday Amy.. (though I don't know you) April birthdays rock- so have a good one!
Ah, Katie 80. Saturday was indeed fantasteek. All day today (my bday) I've been diggin' on that CD you gave me, and tomorrow (when I actually go to work) I plan to print out a picture of us to put in that awesome frame.
We need more Saturdays like last Saturday, yes?
Oh, and Stephanie...thanks. :) Happy birthday to you too...I'm assuming it's in April. :)
